Upon the completion of NYFW, I’ve decided to rip apart my closet and start wearing pieces that bring a new vibe to my overall style (basically the pieces I’ve worn once, etc.)
I have this basic, sheer black button down with sparkly threads mixed within the knit to give a melange effect. I love it, but it’s taken a back burner in my closet. You’ll see below that I’ve paired it with a black bralette. If this is showing a little too much for your taste, then just a wear a fitted black cami, or bodysuit underneath.
I love the look of black pieces mixed with a lighter to medium wash vintage (or vintage inspired) denim. These jeans are “mom jean” inspired and after being pulled from the back of my closet… they’ve become a staple. They have a button up fly, raw hems at the ankle and a higher waist… so very flattering. Definitely one of my favorites!
I wanted a chic kind of NYC feel with this look so I paired it with a classic, suede pump. If you wanted to go more casual you could do a sneaker like vans, or adidas superstars. Something along those lines! To complete everything: a silver, thin hoop, and my Chanel Ley Boy bag in black leather. Instantly takes the look up a level.
