WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

You buy/rent/swap quality fashion pieces from other fashion lovers  whenever you want.  Fashion lovers get paid weekly.  Everyone ends up happy! Just Sign Up and "Request to be invited". Free members will not be able to view or purchase rentals, unfortunately. 

 

WHAT IF THERE AREN'T ANY PIECES LISTED IN MY AREA or SIZE? 

Start the trend! By being the first to list in your area, all of the attention from those living in, or traveling to your area is directed at you and only you. We are also recruiting fashion forward people every day, just shoot us an email. (We love talking to users.) However keep in mind shipping is an option.

 

HOW MUCH SHOULD I CHARGE TO RENT OUT MY PIECES?

Whatever makes it worthwhile for you.  Maybe you don't want to list your brand new shoes, but I bet there are some bags in Wardrobe Cult that would love to go to work for you. We recommend 10% of retail price. In the end, the price should simply be whatever amount makes it worthwhile for you. Keep in mind if you are reasonable you will be more likely to make more money. If you are not sold on the rent option just yet, you can always sell.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED?

When you rent from Wardrobe Cult, we expect that you would treat items as you would your own (actually, maybe treat it even better than that!).  We realize that crap happens. We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable. The subscription fee covers minor stains and damage, but significant damage and theft are not covered under insurance. Anything worse than normal damages will be the responsibility of the person who rented the pieces as stated in the Rental Agreement. Each rental will require an upfront rental deposit. Any disputes will be mediated by wardrobe cult within 7 days. But remember, you review each other after each rental, and those reviews stick with you in your profile for as long as you're a member and we have your credit card information on file( and the event in theft we will charge you, as well as report you to authorities). So it is in everyone's' best interests that wardrobe pieces are treated well. Do not embarrass the person that invited you.

 

WHO CAN JOIN?

Invited users can only join! But not everyone can stay necessarily.  We will continually pour over reviews, transactions and listings in order to maintain legitimacy and trust within the community.  We think Wardrobe Cult can be a great thing for the whole community, but we need your help to make sure that the right stylish users are involved. We feel that if we only invite people with quality clothing we will have a better collection of clothing. We will more likely  return things in good condition knowing we will embarrass our friends and ruin our reputation. 

 

WHY IS THERE A SUBSCRIPTION?

The subscription is to cover losses in the event of mishaps and maintenance of the marketplace. Unlike other marketplaces, we are not currently monetize based on the number  of users. 

 

WHAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR  SHIPPING AND RETURNS? 

Shipping rates are completely up to the user's discretion. We recommend requiring a signature and always adding insurances. Wardrobe Cult is not responsible for any lost packages surpass $50. Shipping solutions will be coming soon via Wardrobe Cult.

 

HOW DOES SWAPPING WORK?

Trade your things with other users. Meet up and switch pieces. Please be advise that no protection is provided for this.

WHAT IF THE SELLER DOESNT SHIP MY ORDER RIGHT AWAY?

We give our fashion professionals 2 days to ship. We realized that you need things in a timely manner for gigs. You can cancel an order with in three hours of making an order. However, if the seller has shipped it already we can not cancel the order.
